Encounters with Canada
Encounters with Canada offers a fantastic opportunity for Canadian teenagers to meet their peers from across the country while spending a week touring in Canada’s capital, Ottawa. Applications are now being accepted for next school year. Students that apply now will have their choice of which week to attend as well selecting the theme of their trip (Arts & Culture, Canada Remembers, Ecology & Environment, International Affafirs, Journalism & Communications, Law, Medicine & Health, Politics in Canada, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Science & Technology, Sports & Fitness, Vimy: Canada’s Coming of Age). They will also be able to take advantage of a government subsidy which reduces the cost of the trip from $675 to $500, until all the subsidies run out. Apply early to get the best price and the trip that suits you!
The cost includes the week in Ottawa as well as flights, accomodations, and meals. Students can see Mrs. McKeage in Room 126 for more information, or visit the .
